The fusion of Hönle’s engineering and Panacol’s chemical expertise has yielded a combination of know-how unique among European suppliers of bonding and sealing technology. Especially with its cutting-edge UV technology, which also sets new standards in glass bonding, this combination offers clear advantages for the group’s customers.

Glasstec 2008: Trend-setting new products and methodsGlass is a versatile material, in terms of both form and function. A prerequisite for its flexible use is the ability to bond glass with all other conceivable materials. In short: to really shine forth, glass needs the right joining method. Bonding, in this context, provides new possibilities of design – both technical and creative, for example in furniture, packaging and artistic design. The main advantage of structural bonding is clear: instead of weakening the glass and inducing localised stress by drilling holes, forces are evenly distributed across the entire bonded surface.
